Book Presentation by The Chinese Consular General

The New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine was delighted to host Chinese Consular General Niu Qingbao on July 2nd on the occasion of the presentation of books gifted by the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban).

Students received 5 types of books on Traditional Chinese Medicine and health maintenance topics.

In total 84 copies of the books and CD’s s donated by the Confucius Institute Headquarters was presented to students by Consular General Niu Qingbao.

In his speech Mr Niu commented that he was pleased to present these books to students. He stated that they represented a generous donation from the Confucius Institute Headquarters and he hoped that they will help students with their study, knowledge and wider understanding of Chinese Medicine. As well Mr Niu commented that such donations by the Confucius Institute Headquarters help to build the bridges of friendship between New Zealand and China.

CEO    Mr Stephen Xu thanked the Consular General for making the presentations and spoke highly of both the generosity of the Confucius Institute Headquarters and the work it undertakes promoting Chinese culture and Chinese Medicine.  The donation provides a valuable source of knowledge and assists the student’s professional study.
